Step 1) Install the appropriate version of “Java SE Development Kit 7u7″ for your operating system. It is the first download listed on this page.

Step 2 only applies to Windows and Mac users
Step 2) Follow the instructions on this page to install Eclipse, Python, and Pydev and stop after completing the section called “Installing the PyDev Python Development Plugin for Eclipse”
