Talena Rambarran is the winner of the Macromolecular

Science and Engineering Division, Chemical Institute of Canada

Chemistry, Undergraduate Thesis Competition in 2011. In her

fourth year thesis work, “Reactive Silicone Elastomers: Synthesis

and Application,” Ms. Rambarran developed new routes to

functional silicone elastomers based on copper-free Click chemistry

in Mike Brook’s lab at McMaster University. She is currently

pursuing her M.Sc. at McMaster. Congratulations to Talena.
