Professor Emeritus Richard Bader passed away early yesterday afternoon.  He died peacefully after spending a couple of weeks in the hospital. Details re the visitation and funeral will be provided as soon as we know about them.

    Richard took early retirement in 1996 but continued to publish until the end.  His article on J.C. Slater, published last year in the Journal of Physical Chemistry A, was among the Top 10 Most Read articles in the journal.  For the article see http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/jp203531x
