The purpose is to educate on the proper installation of tube & pipe fittings as well as covering some basic fluid control principles.

It will be very informal and it will cover:

• Safe fitting installation, Re-tightening and Re-use
• Swagelok’s new Advanced Rear Ferrule
• Proper use of thread sealants
• Pipe Thread Identification (i.e. tapered vs. straight)
• Safe design practices for tube systems
• Tube selection, assessment and preparation for fitting assembly
• Specialty fittings to optimize tube system designs
