The Cary 300 UV-Vis spectrophotometer is capbable of running in a single or dual beam mode.  It is equipped with a deuterium lamp for UV work, while a tungsten source is used for the visible region.  Temperature control is possible on this experiment, enabling it to be used for kinetics purposes where temperature control is required.  Its 12 cell sample holder makes it possible to analyze multiple samples in one session.
