The CAOS facility is pleased to offer a wide range of services for the analysis of your samples. Elemental Analysis (CHNS and O) is possible on solid and liquid samples, and in conjunction with researchers in the Chemistry Department, methods for the combustion analysis of air sensitive samples is available.

The CAOS facility offers analysis of a wide range of sampling techniques for IR, whether it be Far, Near or Mid IR. Dr. Kornic can normally analyze most samples that are difficult to analyze. If you require your sample to be identified, then a comparison of your IR with the data bases the CAOS Facility has access to can generally at minimum identify the class of compound, or at best the identity of the material at hand.

UV-Vis servicews are also available with the ability to control temperature if it is required.

Consultation and method development are offered by the manager to graduate students who are unsure on how to go about the analysis of their samples.   This normally requires the reseracher providing papers to show what work on similar samples reported int eh literature.
