Welcome to the CHEMBIO 2A03/2AA3 web page.   You will find all you need here for the lab only, as the main course notes will be provide via avenue in learning.

This lab is designed to give you an overview of lab skills that anyone looking to do research later will need.  It does not matter what discipline you are in, lab skills are lab skills, from handling of the samples to prevent contamination, performing analyses, to writing up your results to communicate what you have done.

This semester the lab will be focussing on the lab skills, while maintaining the strict grading for identifying how much of a given material is in your samples.  Often in my facility, I get one chance at analyzing something and must take care of proper handling of the samples to ensure I can do what the client asks of me.  I hope that by the end of the semester, you will be a part of the way to being able to apply your skills you have learned.
