The 1999 RISE Scholars

This past year, over 30 applications were received from students at the ten host institutions. The ten 1999 RISE Scholars are listed below, along with their home institutions and the institutions at which their awards are tenable. Almost all of the ten students have also been awarded NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards, which are held concurrently with the RISE Scholarships.
